Curriculum
Vinyasa
- Vinyasa is a style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement. Vinyasa means to move with the breath, which is essentially the core of a Vinyasa class. Often called flow yoga, Vinyasa Flow is a style of yoga with focus on transitions and movements, with less time spent in stationary poses. Vinayasa flow has different range of motion and is very beneficial for cardiovascular health, building strength and relieving stress and most importantly it teaches us how to connect with our breath.
Hatha Yoga
- A yoga class described as ‘Hatha’ will typically involve a set of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques. These are typically practised more slowly and with more static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. Hatha means ‘force’ and is more traditionally defined as ‘the yoga of force’, or ‘the means of attaining a state of yoga through force. So Hatha yoga can be considered as anything you might do with the body, including: asanas, pranayama, mantras, mudras, meditation, cleansing technique etc.
Power yoga
- Power yoga, which is also known as Vinyasa yoga, is a fast-paced style of yoga that’s focused on building strength and endurance. It is also an excellent form of yoga for burning calories.
Traditional Yoga & Spiritual Yoga
- flow yoga is the general term given to any style of yoga asana in which the practitioner moves dynamically from one posture immediately into another, following the breath.
Iyenger Yoga
- Iyengar yoga is a type of Hatha yoga and was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar. Based on the eight limbs of yoga as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, it emphasizes the precise physical alignment of the body within particular postures. Iyengar yoga is a disciplined system with carefully planned and timed sequences. Often, props, such as blocks and belts, are used to ensure students can practice the postures with correct alignment and safely develop their yoga practice over time.
Aerial Yoga
- Aerial yoga is a hybrid type of yoga developed by Michelle Dortignac in 2006 combining traditional yoga poses, Pilates, and dance with the use of a hammock. you can even expect to improve your lung capacity. In order to maintain a great range of motion, you must consistently work on your flexibility. Aerial yoga class will definitely help you to safely stretch your muscles and tendons.
Kuandalini Yoga
- it derives its name through a focus on awakening kundalini energy through regular practice of mantra, tantra, yantra, yoga, laya, haṭha, meditation, or even spontaneously (sahaja) Kundalini yoga is a spiritual and physical practice that helps to gain powerful energy by transforming ourselves. Kundalini yoga includes movement, dynamic breathing techniques and chanting mantras. It focuses on improving concentration and memory, by helping to identify our inner selves. It helps you connect with the source.
